The John Tree Award 2019.

The John Tree Award 2019 was held at Hawthorn High School, Pontypridd.

Five competitors from the secondary schools in the Pontypridd area took part this year.

Ella Jones-Iles – YGG Garth Olwg – Singer

Ellie Leigh Jones – Hawthorn High School – Singer

Grace Clifford – Bryn Celynog – Singer

Ella will be invited to sing with the choir at a Gala Concert later in the year, when her £200 prize will be presented.

All runners up receive a cheque for £25.

The choir wish to thank the Music Departmental staff from each of the schools concerned for their invaluable help in the organisation of the event.
